Bears Agree to Trade a Draft Pick to the Rams for Guard Jonah Jackson

(Lake Forest, IL) — The Bears are making a trade to shore up their offensive line. The team dealt their sixth-round pick to the Rams for guard/center Jonah Jackson.
The offensive lineman spent four seasons of his career with the Lions and the new Bears head coach, Ben Johnson. Jackson also made the Pro Bowl in 2021.
He was with the Rams last season after signing a three-year, 51-million-dollar contract. Jackson only played in four games after suffering a shoulder injury in training camp and then getting benched.
The sixth-round pick used in the trade is compensation the Bears received in the deal that sent quarterback Justin Fields to the Steelers.
