SPRINGFIELD – With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, law enforcement wants to remind those wanting to have a good time celebrating need to do so responsibly. There will be increased patrols statewide on every level of law enforcement, funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Those wanting to enjoy the evening may wish to use some sound advice, like having a designated driver or use a ride-share service, instead of pressing their luck.
