MENDOTA — The annual Mendota Christmas will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Mendota, featuring visits with Santa and the Grinch, free horse-drawn carriage rides, a Touch a Truck experience with police cars, fire trucks, and tractors, and kids crafts. The Mendota Lions Club will provide free hot chocolate and hot dogs.
“If you have memories of Christmas making crafts with your family, that’s something you can build on with your kids. Even if you’re an adult, you can watch together and build some memories,” said Madeline Piller, president and CEO of the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber ambassadors will sell raffle tickets for an electric scooter and donations will be accepted for Operation Elf Action, which provides gifts for children for area families in need.
