A Dixon man has been charged with indecent solicitation of a child. The Dixon Police Department reports the arrest of 41 year old Daniel Berkeley after a months-long investigation after a minor reported they were solicited for sex.
In February, The Dixon Police Department received a report from a minor that they had been solicited for sex. Follow-up interviews and a forensic interview with the child led to an arrest warrant for Berkeley.
Berkeley was taken into custody on May 8th and transferred to the Lee County Jail. He was to make an appearance in court Wednesday.
