MONROE TOWNSHIP — The Monroe Township Fire Protection District will celebrate its 75th anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Monroe Township Fire Department. The event will honor the department’s history of service, volunteers, and community partnerships since 1951. Activities will include fire apparatus and equipment displays, historical exhibits, a car show, a kids zone, food, entertainment, and community showcases. Organizers say the celebration is open to the public and will recognize the people and organizations that have supported the department over the past 75 years.
