ROCHELLE – The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District on Monday night approved the purchase of four new drinking fountains. Executive Director of the Flagg-Rochelle Park District Jackee Ohlinger said that these would encourage those using the facilities to remain hydrated.
“We’re excited to offer some new drinking fountains at our parks. It’ll have a bottle filler, a drinking spigot, as well as an opportunity for your little pet to have a drink as well,” she said.
New installations will be at VFW and Tilton Park, with replacements installed at Atwood and Helms. Work is expected to be completed over the next few months. The four fountains will be purchased from Stern Willaims out of Missouri at a total cost of $20,453.09
