Make it 6 years in a row for Prairieview Golf Club in Byron as they won the 103rd Annual Men’s Lincoln Highway Golf Tournament Sunday at Sunset Golf Club in Mt. Morris.
Prairieview totaled 124 points in the best-against bogey format. They have now won the Men’s Lincoln Highway Tournament 7 out of the last 8 years.
Emerald Hill Golf Course in Sterling came in second place with 108 points while Sunset Golf Course Team 1 in Mt. Morris finished in third place with 79 points.
Fairways Golf Course in Rochelle came in 8th place out of 11 teams with 32 points.
The individual champion was Ryan Jahn of Prairieview Golf Course who finished the 54 hole tournament at 4 under par 212.
3 golfers tied for second place at 2 under par. They include Jason Wombacher and Andrew Canfield from Prairieview and Jarred Hippen who plays for Emerald Hill Golf Course.
Rochelle’s Ian Metzger finished in 6th place at even par 216.
