GENOA — A 72-year-old Hoffman Estates man was cited after a two vehicle rollover crash with injuries Thursday around 4 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Road and Base Line Road, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the man was driving a pickup truck southbound and allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign before entering the intersection, where his vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a westbound SUV driven by a 39-year-old Genoa woman. The crash caused a rollover and left both vehicles with disabling damage. The Hoffman Estates driver and his passenger, along with the Genoa woman and three juvenile passengers, were all taken to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Hoffman Estates man was cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection.
