OREGON — A man was seriously injured early Wednesday in a crash involving a vehicle and a train in the 1100 block of Bennett Road. The Oregon Police Department said officers responded around 1:10 a.m. and found a vehicle with one occupant. The driver, an adult male, was given aid at the scene and taken by the Oregon Fire Protection District to OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation and the man’s current condition was not released.
