FREEPORT — A teen is dead and a child is hurt following a July 4th crash in Freeport. Police say 18-year-old Eric Francisco-Martinez was driving a blue Toyota last Friday on Stephenson Street when he lost control and hit a tree. Francisco-Martinez died at the hospital. A minor in his vehicle was also hospitalized with injuries suffered in the crash, which remains under investigation.
