Byron Bank Dunk Tank Returns to ByronFest to Support Trek for Troops

BYRON  — The Byron Bank Dunk Tank will return to ByronFest 2025 from tomorrow through the 13th  to raise funds for Trek for Troops Byron, with a lineup of local leaders and community members volunteering for dunk shifts. Among those taking a turn in the tank is Charles Van Horn, News and Sports Director for 102.3 The Coyote and SuperHits 93.5, who will appear Sunday from 2 to 3 PM. The dunk tank, located in front of Byron Bank on 2nd Street, will offer three throws for $5 or a direct lever push for $10. All proceeds benefit Trek for Troops  to support Darkhorse Lodge, a retreat for combat veterans. The weekend schedule in the tank includes appearances from school principals, athletes, local officials, and business leaders, all helping raise money for a cause that supports those who have served.
