ROCHELLE – A number of homes and commercial properties were without power in Rochelle on Sunday after a squirrel chewed through a power line. Rochelle Municipal Utilities reported that areas along Route 38 and Lincoln Highway lost power for a few hours while crews worked to repair the damage.
