Youth and Regular Spring Turkey Hunting Seasons Open Across Illinois

SPRINGFIELD – Young hunters across Illinois will take part in the youth spring turkey hunting season April 4 through April 6 statewide as the Illinois Department of Natural Resources says participants must meet state requirements and follow all youth hunting regulations available through the agency’s website. The department says the first regular spring turkey hunting season runs April 6 through April 10 in the south zone and April 13 through April 17 in the north zone, with additional season information and full schedules available online.
