DEKALB — The DeKalb City Council approved a $100,000 funding request last week to support building maintenance and safety projects at Barb City Manor. Officials said the funding combines the 2025 and 2026 allocations and will be used for repairs that include replacing limestone caps on parapet walls, exterior doors, and boiler valves. City officials said the funding is part of a long standing agreement in which the city contributes annual capital support to the facility, which serves local residents.
