(Glendale, AZ) — Mike Vasil’s season is coming to an early end. The White Sox starting pitcher will have season-ending Tommy John surgery this week.
Vasil was dealing with elbow soreness during Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 25-year-old was 5-and-3 with a 2.50 ERA and four saves in 47 games last season.
