DIXON – Area families are invited to attend a free Virtual Community Baby Shower on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The online event is open to all pregnant persons and families with children up to age 4 months living in Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties.
Hosted by the Regional Office of Education #47 and the Sauk Valley STARS Early Childhood Education Coalition, the event aims to help parents and babies stay healthy during and after pregnancy. The evening will feature games, gifts, and parent education sessions.
Participants who register and attend the Zoom event will receive a special gift bag of baby items. While the event is free, space is limited, and registration is required by Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
