A few former Bears are moving to new teams as free agents.
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds has agreed to sign with the New York Giants. He was recently released by the Bears to take a two-point-four-million-dollar salary-cap hit instead of paying him 17 million dollars this season.
Edmunds’ new deal is worth 36 million dollars over three years.
Meanwhile, former Bears quarterback and first round pick Mitch Trubisky will sign with the Titans after two seasons with the Bills.
