LELAND – A LaSalle County man who is accused of trying to disarm a police officer earlier this year is now in custody. Agents with the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended 25-year-old Samuel Musson on Wednesday. Investigators say Musson was fighting with a Leland police officer in January when he tried to take the officer’s gun. He is being held at the LaSalle County Jail on a count of aggravated battery to a peace officer.
