STILLMAN VALLEY – An opportunity to donate life-saving blood will be coming to Stillman Valley today. The Rock River Valley Blood Center will be at the Valley Covenant Church from 1 PM to 6 PM today. Maggie Anderson, Donor Recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said that area residents can step up and help community members in need.
“It’s so simple and easy. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to come in and do a whole blood donation. The actual blood donation itself is only 5 to 10 minutes too, so that’s super easy and quick,” she said.
“You can just walk into one of our mobile blood drives or one of our sites, or you can call us or go online and make an appointment.”
Valley Covenant Church is located at 103 South Maple Street in Stillman Valley. Donation times can be reserved at RRVBC.org, but walk-ins are always welcome.
