Donovan Dent hit a go-ahead layup with 1 second remaining in ovrtime to give UCLA a 95-94 upset win over Number 10 Illinois Saturday night at Pauley Pavilion.
Dent drove nearly the length of the court for the winning basket.
UCLA rallied from a 23-point first-half deficit for the win.
The Bruins were led by Eric Dailey Jr. with 20 points.
Freshmen Keaton Wagler had given Illinois a 94-93 lead on an offensive rebound and basket with 4.9 seconds left in the game. He had 19 points.
Illinois is now (22-6) for the season and (13-4) in the Big 10 Conference.
The Illini play at home on Friday against Michigan.
