Sarah Eckardt of Oregon High School has been named to the 2026 IHSA All-State Academic team.
Eckardt is 1 of 26 students named to the team.
To be selected to the squad, a student must have a minimum of a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale after their 7th semester. They must also participate in at least 2 IHSA sponsored sports or activities during each of the last 2 years of high school and demonstrate outstanding citizenship.
Making the honorable mention All-State Academic Team were Cale Kleinschmidt of Stillman Valley High School and Joseph Erb Jr. of Winnebago High School.
