Tangent Technologies To Invest 50 Million Dollars In Montgomery

MONTGOMERY — Tangent Technologies will invest 50 million dollars to expand and consolidate its United States manufacturing operations in Montgomery, according to Governor JB Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The sustainable lumber manufacturer will relocate operations from Canada and Aurora to a 1.5 million square foot facility. The project will create 110 new full time jobs and retain 485 positions. State officials said the expansion is supported by an Economic Development for a Growing Economy agreement.
