DIXON — Two Polaris Ranger utility vehicles and several tools allegedly stolen from a rural Dixon property were recovered after a Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigation that led to arrests in Carroll County. Deputies responded Feb. 5 to a burglary on Mound Hill Road. During the course of the investigation, they obtained a search warrant for a Milledgeville residence after receiving an anonymous tip. Ross P. Hartman, 30, of Milledgeville, was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, Precious R. Crow, 24, of Dixon, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and held on a Lee County warrant, and David J. Lohnes, 24, of Lanark, was charged with driving while license suspended and released with a notice to appear. The case remains under investigation and additional charges are pending.
