ROCHELLE – A 16-year-old juvenile was cited after a two vehicle crash Friday evening at Illinois Route 64 and Mulford Road in rural Rochelle. Ogle County Sheriff deputies said the juvenile was driving an SUV eastbound around 7:30 p.m. and began turning north onto Mulford Road when a westbound passenger vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Rochelle woman struck the SUV on the passenger side. The Rochelle woman was taken by Lynn-Scott-Rock EMS to Rochelle Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The juvenile driver and her passenger were taken by Rochelle Fire EMS to the same hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The juvenile was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
