OREGON — Ogle County deputies responded Friday morning to a two-vehicle crash on South Illinois Route 2. A 42-year-old Rockford woman reportedly crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a southbound semi tractor-trailer driven by a 73-year-old man from Polo. The woman was taken to OSF St. Katharine’s Hospital in Dixon with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was uninjured. She was cited for improper lane usage. Oregon Fire, EMS, and the Oregon Police Department assisted at the scene.
