Illinois is now (3-1) in Big 10 play following am 81-55 win Thursday night over Rutgers in Champaign.
It was the 12th win for the Illini as they were led by freshman guard Keaton Wagler who had 17 points.
Illinois led 43-16 at half.
Rutgers is now (8-8).
The Illini return to action on Sunday at Iowa.
