Oregon Blood Drive Set at Church of God

OREGON — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Oregon Church of God, 860 W. Oregon Trail Rd., on Tuesday, January 20, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. RRVBC provides blood for 14 area hospitals and collects more than 800 units weekly from nine counties across Illinois and Wisconsin. Donors are encouraged to reserve a donation time at RRVBC.org, though walk-ins are welcome. Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said “Time spent donating blood is time spent saving lives. Even a small commitment can have a huge impact on patients recovering from surgery or trauma.”
