Electrical Fire Forces Closure of Rochelle McDonalds

ROCHELLE – McDonalds at 1120 North 7th Street in Rochelle will be closed Monday after an electrical fire Sunday morning. The Rochelle Fire Department was called around 9 a m for a report of smoke in the building. Fire officials determined a water pipe likely burst and damaged an electrical panel, causing a short. Electricity was shut off to the building due to the damage.
