Authorities investigating After $300K Fell Out Of Brinks Truck In Oak Park

OAK PARK –  Authorities are investigating after three bags of 300 thousand dollars fell off a Brinks truck in west suburban Oak Park. A Brinks employee told detectives that somehow the back door of the vehicle swung open and the bags of cash fell out. The incident happened late Monday afternoon in the 300 block of South Austin Boulevard.  That was when it looked like a movie scene, when several people started snatching piles of cash.  The search is on for anyone with information or who may want to turn some of the money in. There is no word on exactly how much money is missing.
