AMBOY — Two Amboy residents were arrested Saturday after a Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigation into methamphetamine sales. Authorities say 61-year-old Laura A. Stroud and 32-year-old Montrel D. Glass were arrested after a search of a home on W. Provost Street. Stroud faces six felony drug charges and was ordered detained after an Oct. 5 hearing. She was already on pretrial release from an April arrest on multiple drug charges. Glass faces two felony drug charges and was released with a notice to appear. Amboy police assisted with the search.
