Polo Council Approves First Reading of Bulk Water Rate Ordinance

POLO — The Polo City Council on Monday approved the first reading of Ordinance 25-14, which sets new bulk water service rates. The ordinance, amending Chapter 52, §52.090(D) of the City Code, does not affect residential water rates and will be passed at the next council meeting. The ordinance sets a hookup fee of $100 per day and a usage fee of $10 per 100 cubic feet of water. The ordinance is scheduled to take effect November 1, 2025.
