Teammates of Dylan Manning of Rochelle visited him on Monday at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
The junior runningback and safety is recovering from a head injury he suffered last Friday night in the football game with Morris. He had brain surgery following the game.
RTHS Head Coach Kyle Kissack brought his team to visit Dylan. Kissack said that he is doing better since he has been off the sedatives and the breathing tube was removed on Sunday.
He even ate pancakes on Monday.
Dylan has responded to visitors at the hospital and gave some fist bumps.
Manning currently leads the Hubs with 829 yards and 11 touchdowns on offense and 41 tackles on defense.
