BYRON – A 25-year-old Byron woman was taken to Swedish American Hospital in Rockford with suspected minor injuries after a single-vehicle crash early Saturday in the 3000 block of East Tower Road. Deputies said she fell asleep while driving south on North Tower Road, causing her vehicle to leave the roadway, strike a curb, go airborne and overturn onto its roof. Byron police and fire crews assisted at the scene, and no citations were issued.
