POLO – Two passengers were taken to OSF St. Katherine Hospital in Dixon after a crash Sunday at the intersection of U.S. Route 52 and South Freeport Road. Deputies say a 27-year-old man from Ankeny, Iowa, allegedly rolled into the intersection after stopping at a stop sign and struck an SUV driven by a 59-year-old woman from Cabery. The injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. No citations were issued.
