Franklin Township Park District Seeks Funding For Pickleball Courts

KIRKLAND – The Franklin Township Park District is pursuing a $50,000 project to replace an old tennis court with two new pickleball courts in Kirkland after learning the surface was beyond repair. Officials say the courts would provide a popular recreation option for residents of all ages but can only move forward with financial help. The district is seeking support through grants and community donations.
