Oregon City Budget Shows Strong Finances

OREGON — City Manager Darin DeHaan reported Tuesday that Oregon’s finances remain strong. Sales tax revenue has risen to $341,000 for fiscal year 2026, up from $294,000 last year. Total revenues for the year ending April 30, 2025, were $8.31 million, with major sources including property taxes, sewer and water sales, state income tax, sales taxes, and video gaming. Vendor payments totaled $6.25 million, covering city operations and contractors. Fund balances remain healthy, including $1.56 million in the general fund and $8.68 million in water and sewer operations.
