Oregon City Council Reviews Sidewalk Projects

OREGON — The Oregon City Council heard an update Tuesday on the city’s 2025 sidewalk improvements. Public Works Director Bill Covell said crews have repaired sidewalks in 17 locations, focusing on areas ranked highest for safety and traffic. A few high-priority spots remain. Using city staff instead of contractors saved about $37,000. Covell said the work has improved safety and accessibility and that additional areas, including sections north of Trestle Ridge, will be addressed next year.
