Belvidere Blood Donor Site to Reopen Sept. 29

BELVIDERE  — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will reopen its donor site in Belvidere on Sept. 29 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. and a daylong event at 1740 S. State St. Community members are invited to attend, tour the facility, and donate blood, with treats and small gifts offered to donors. The Belvidere location is reopening in partnership with the Boone County Chamber of Commerce to continue serving local blood needs.
