It was an exciting finish at Wrigley Field Monday night as Pete Crow-Armstrong it a walk off 2-run home run in the 10th inning to give the Chicago Cubs at 7-5 win over the Chicago White Sox in the Crosstown Classic.
It was the second home run in the game for Crow-Armstrong as he had 4 hits and 3 RBI.
Nico Hoerner also had 4 singles in the game for the Cubs which included the hit that tied the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the 9th inning.
The White Sox had taken a 5-4 lead in the 8th inning on a pinch hit 2-run home run from Andrew Benintendi.
Randal Grichuk also had a 3-run home run for the White Sox.
Game 2 in the series is Tuesday night.
