Monroe Township and Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Departments Establish Weekday Auto-Aid

ROCHELLE — Monroe Township Fire and Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire have implemented an auto-aid agreement that provides weekday coverage for both districts. Monroe Township staff previously worked 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while Lynn-Scott-Rock staffed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Under the new agreement, both departments will respond to calls in either district Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., combining resources to improve response times and ensure consistent coverage for the communities.
