SYCAMORE — Opportunity House in Sycamore is honoring Direct Support Professionals Week with daily events to recognize staff who provide care and support to clients, including breakfasts, raffles, walking taco lunches, healthy drinks, and gift bags from the board of directors. The public is invited out today from 9 a.m. to noon to 357 North California Street in Sycamore for tours and a chance to learn more.
Director of Development at Opportunity House, Marlene Ceja, said they encourage folks in the community to lend a hand. ”You can volunteer with Opportunity House. You can also help support Opportunity House and you can catch all that information on our website, which is OHinc.org,” she said.
