Byron High School will have a new head baseball coach next spring.
Head football coach Jeff Boyer has been named to the position.
He replaces Dale Hartman who was head coach for 23 years in the Byron baseball program.
Hartman won over 450 games with the Tigers.
Boyer is a former assistant baseball coach at Byron and Rochelle.
