Mike Yastrzemski and Bobby Witt Jr. each doubled for Kansas City’s only two hits in the setback. Noah Cameron got the loss after allowing six runs on eight hits in five innings on the mound. The Royals have dropped three of four.
Game 2 in the series is Tuesday night.
