The Chicago Bears have announced the signing of backup quarterback Tyson Bagent to a 2-year contract extension through the 2027 season.
Bagent played in 4 games last season. He started 4 games in 2023.
The Bears also announced that cornerback Terell Smith will miss the season due to a knee injury he suffered in the Buffalo game on Sunday.
Chicago plays their 3rd and final preseason game Friday night at Kansas City.
