DEKALB — A 51-year-old Rochelle woman was injured Tuesday morning when her vehicle reportedly ran off Rich Road east of Glidden Road and struck a tree after she experienced a medical issue.According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 9:00 a.m. and determined the woman had veered into the north ditch for unknown reasons. She was transported to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital by the DeKalb Fire Department, and the vehicle was removed from the scene by Accurate Towing. No citations were issued and no other injuries were reported.
