Willi Castro also had a 3-run home run.
Matthew Boyd picked up his 12th win of the season as he pitched into the 6th inning. 4 relief pitcher allowed 2 hits the rest of the game.
Christian Yelich had a solo home run for Milwaukee.
The Cubs won the second game 4-1. Michael Busch had a double and 2 RBI for Chicago.
Jameson Taillon pitched 6 innings for his 8th win for the season. Andrew Kittredge threw the final 2 innings for the save.
The Cubs are now 7 games back behind Milwaukee in the National League Central Division.
Game 4 of the 5-game series will be played Wednesday night in Chicago.
