Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled on I-88

DEKALB — Sections of I-88 will be reduced to a single lane overnight tonight, with closures beginning at 7 p.m. and all lanes reopening by 7 a.m. Wednesday. Westbound closures will occur between I-290 and Spring Road, the DeKalb Oasis and Illinois Route 23, the DeKalb Toll Plaza, and between the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and Steward Road. The westbound ramp to the DeKalb Oasis will close at midnight and reopen by 4 a.m., with no detour posted. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane between Shabbona Road and the DeKalb Toll Plaza, at Blackberry Creek, and between Highland Avenue and Midwest Road.
