Bears Play To A 24-24 Tie With Miami In First Preseason Game

The Chicago Bears played to a 24-24 tie on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins at Soldier Field in the first preseason game for both teams.

Under NFL rules, there is no overtime in preseason games

Miami led 14-10 at halftime. The Bears took the lead twice in the second half by 3 points.

Chicago had touchdown passes to Maurice Alexander, Deion Hankins, and Jahdae Walker.

Cairo Santos also kicked a 57-yard field goal on the final play of the first half.

The Bears were led on defense by end Austin Booker who had 3 quarterback sacks. 1 resulted in a fumble.

Chicago plays their second preseason game on Sunday night at Soldier Field against Buffalo.
