The Chicago Bears play their first preseason game on Sunday at Soldier Field against the Miami Dolphins.
The Bears had a joint practice with Miami on Friday at Hallas Hall in Lake Forest.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that starting quarterback Caleb Williams will not play in the game on Sunday.
Johnson said that around 9 players on each side of the football will sit out in the preseason game.
The Bears are trying to improve off a (5-12) season a year ago.
