Mobile DMV and I PASS Event Planned in Byron

BYRON — Residents can take care of several driver’s services during a mobile Illinois Secretary of State event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Byron Public Library, 100 S. Washington St. The event, hosted by House Minority Leader Tony McCombie and Byron Mayor John Rickard, will offer driver’s license, state ID, REAL ID and license plate sticker renewals, along with other DMV services. I PASS services also will be available, including free I-PASS sticker tags for passenger vehicles when drivers trade in a transponder. Walk-ins are accepted for I PASS services, but reservations are required for DMV services through McCombie’s website. Residents with questions can contact McCombie’s district office at 815-291-8989.
